We all do it sometimes...
« on: December 06, 2008, 04:55:57 pm »
I'm an experienced mechanic, but it happens to us all once in a while...

The lesson from today's work was: when you find a pair of leaking valve cover gaskets on a newly purchased truck, there is one important step to take before ordering new gaskets and taking a month to have a few hours free to clean up vacuum lines/top end while changing said gaskets....Make sure the eight valve cover bolts are more than finger tight.

Have a good day.

Well mine from yesterday was make sure there is not ice in the lines to the windshield squirter's on the hood of your friends daughters Rodeo before you remove the whole washer bottle, test the power to it, then test the pump. By the way they are a pain in the back side to get out on a Rodeo!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
