best way to clean my engine compartment???

what would be the best way to clean my engine compartment?? while keeping everything in there.lol. any ideas??

Power washer

Take it to one of those do-it-yourself car washes where you throw in about 50 quarters and go to town.

Or
If you know someone with a powerwasher, go ahead and give 'em a beer and use it.  Just be careful with the wires and stuff under da hood.

Castrol Super Clean, and a hot water pressure washer.

if your going to use a pressure washer covering things work help they will just come off due to grease or the washer it self. just dint spay into the carb. usually i let the engine cool then spray it with soap or something then rinse it off  depends on what and were you want to clean

ok. i think im just going to try some of that engine cleaner you can get at the auto parts store and see how that works.

i usually run the engine while i clean it with a power washer....you will be able to tell if it starts to die out, then dont spray there.
