body swap ??

iv got an 85 gmc serria 4x4 4 speed with lock outs  the body is in rough shape but iv found a 86 4x2 auto chevy my question is can i swap bodys cuz the chevy is perfect body that is will i have to make any modifcation to do the swap thanks

You will need to cut the center hump out of both cabs, & put the 4x4 into the 2 wheel drive cab. Cut it over size, then trim to fit, & screw it down with some large hex head self drilling / tapping screws.
