New guy from The Netherlands, saying Hi!!!

Hi Guys (and Gals)!!!
I'm new here on the forum. My name is Erik Reijnders and I'm from the southern part of The Netherlands, Europe.
Been looking around a lot as I had the urge to get me a squarebody swb.
Purchased a yellow '81 Chevy SWB with 305/350 2 weeks ago....
The truck was already imported here, I bought it from a guy who regularly imports American cars and trucks.
The truck is from Rio Linda, California (according to it's title) and it's a nice rust free base model truck with a so so cheapo paint job.
Nothing special but it's good enough for me.
First I need to get it in good mechanical condition, it has a few minor electrical & mechanical issues and needs a good service job.
After that I want to add several things;
* stereo system
* tilt steering column
* factory tach gauge cluster
* tonneau cover
* 18" wheels
and so on...

Looks good. Not too fond of the 20" wheels, but those look good on it.

My buddy has his business repairing and selling classic american cars and trucks.
These photos were taken on his lot.
Right now it pretty much looks like a squarebody depot
There are a several early eighties Suburbans
A '73 swb, a '79 swb
An '83 longbed, a 89/90 Blazer diesel
And mine, waiting untill we have some time to work on it.
Normally though, you don't see many of these on the road here in Europe.
If you see anything American it's mostly Chrysler/Dodge Voyager/Caravan and some late models Ram trucks.
Talking about wheels;
I'm very tempted to get me a set of Boss 338 wheels with the grey centers 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear.....
