I reckon matt camouflage (if thats how you spell it!) is the way to go. I'm still going orange and black tho when time permits ;)

well, i think im going to risk a silver paint job and tan interior. black just seems like too much work at the time. I might do it to a later 73-87 that i'll do. i just want this truck done so i can drive it to the county fairs in the area in june and july. I wont be finished by then but hopefully it will look good by then.

If you do this by yourself wow does it ever feel good. Im 17 and man do I have respect for these body shops. seems like all i ever do is work on my truck, go to school and work. but i every weekend I find time for some partying ;D just sucks the next doing body work lol

Back when I first started out I can remember the other guy in the shop, ( two years older than I ) and myself coming to work still whailed from the night before. Caught heck from our boss a few times for showing up wrecked.  ::)

well, i'm 19. work 40hours and 5 days a week(more if there is snow) go to college at night and still find time to work on my truck in a cold, none insulated, breezy barn. gotta love it though. i think after i'm done with this truck i'll be building a small pole barn or 2 car garage in my backyard. be a nice present for my dad too(restoring 67 mustang).......or i'll just buy another 73-87  ;D

glad to hear theres more people like me out there. when i was looking for a truck I wanted kinda a fixer uper. so I found this 84 c10 with 150,000 km on her. all original bought it off a guy who started restoring it but ran out of money and patience. so i offered him 1500 cash and i bought her. I like fixing things and trying new things to. I would buy a fixer uper anyday then a truck that is in perfect condition. just doesnt feel the same if ya dont put some blood sweet and tears into your own baby. if ya no what I mean

dang straight! its hard work to redo a truck but once its done it will be so worth it. I was a work one day and rolled through a little town and saw my truck for sale. went there straight after work and bought it after lookin at it for 5 minutes. kind of a mistake not lookin it over but i'm making it work(lot more rust than met the eye). I cant wait to finish it for this summer. it'll have a 73-80 front doghouse, 6in of lift, 35's and brand new paint. it'll be fun.  ;D later plans(for this fall) for it is a built 350 and a 4 speed but the old worn out 350 and 700r4 will work for now. got plenty of blood into it right now...tears are going to come when she's finished haha
