Greeting from Kent Lakes, New York

Hello All,
Been lurking for a while and though it's time to introduce myself and my truck.

I'm Christopher and bought my 82 K20 in September 08. The truck's was just to haul firewood to heat the house. It did the job so well,  and I liked driving it so much, I though I put a little time in fixing the body up "just clean it up and paint it, it'll be fun".

All I have to say is dang those TV and cable shows. The do a complete restoration in 30 minutes and it comes out perfect. The truck has become a part-time  job (bordering full-time;including weekends and holidays), nothing is perfect, and every 5 minutes it's another $50 trip to the store for this or that. It's been a roller coaster ride of This looks great! or this is crap.

This is what I've got so far. .

After these pics the rims were cleaned up with new center caps, roll bar and 8" lights were put in along with tail and side lights.

Still to go are the door guts, paint the inside of the bed wire the lights etc etc etc.
