Our new baby girl

Say hello to our baby girl!  Little miss Scarlett was born at 4am on the 21st (after a very long night).
Mom and baby are still at the hospital; I've been either sleeping in the car or burning up tires driving 40 miles from hospital to home.  Feeling a little punchy.     What day is it again?

By the way, after much trial and error, I found that the old-style lap belts that you adjust yourself are the best for strapping in a child car seat.

I think I'll go lay down in my quiet house.     well, at least until I pick up my son from daycare  .

I know about long nights.   My wife was in labor for 20 hours--7:30am til 307am the next morning.
