i got a door with a bad skin just about up to the body line, it has a good shell. i have another door with a bad bottom shell and a fair skin. is it better to just buy a new door or try to combind the two? btw one is power one is not

It would be a pain to try to cut the 2 up to make one door.. I think a door skin only cost like 60 bucks and a hole door cost 120 .  So how i look at it for 60 bucks  it would not be worth the time to do it.

Between the 2, i would use the one with a good skin and replace the bottom.  77-91 doors will interchange all parts so power vs power is a non-issue if the 2 you have fall in this categorey.

wish I could get a new door skin for a few bucks. It would cost twice that to get it shipped over  :'(

try looking for a used one locally..The shipping on doors is way high..I got lucky on craigslist and scored to sub front doors power and two clean inner fenders for 200 about an hours drive away from me..Way cheaper than buying the one door i needed..If you need a passenger door i have a bare one thats clean i will give you..im in NYC though.
