I got to thinking after I posted pics of the trailer brake job, & checking out BlueCollerRon's pics. How about a thread that everyone that can take their camera to work with them, do so for a day or two. Then post up the pics? Think it would be neat to see some in site on each others daily lives other than our trucks.

I work in Aviation. in my 17 years I have worked on Grumman EA-6B Prowlers, Pratt & Whitney J52 P408A jet engines, C-119 for the Movie Flight of the Phoenix, C-130's, 737-200, 737-300, Eclipse EA500, and the Cessna Mustang. I am currently the night shift Area Manager on the production the the Mustang

I'll try to dig up some photo's this week and post them.

since I work overnights its tough for me to get a good pic. Here I'm at a mill delivering coal. The mill makes their own electricity.

Another trailer, Replaced most of the frame replace all the cross members, and wood floor for about 18' of the trailer. Permanently attached the sliding rear suspension stationary to the frame. Have about 9.0 hrs of needle scaling, & grinding. About 25 hrs. in welding, 10.0 hrs. into the floor. Over 500 holes drilled, and then filled them all with 7/16" Torx head self tapping bolts.
Did all six wheels for brake job on this one too.

Looks nice Blazin, thats a lot of work!  I cant wait to learn to weld.  Yea the shop was pretty smokey then :D, not now.  We put up a lot of sheet rock today, we should be nearly complete tomorrow.  I took some good pics but I need to find my cord to upload my pictures  ::)

oh the saw was just sitting on the sheet rock

I don't know about looking real nice, but it will haul wood chips OK. Trailer wasn't really worth the money put into it, but the guy said fix it, so we did.
I kinda figured, know one could be that hackerish to use a chain saw on sheet rock!!!

Cameras are forbidden at my place of work, falls under "industrial espeonage"  :o

I can take some pics of the farm, my second job, if anyone wants to see 20,000 chickens...lol

Nothing wrong with working on a farm, even for a second job. I worked at a hog farm for a few years and I really enjoyed it.
