sorry for the venting but i had my truck broke into toady at work...
stole my CD player and $30 cash.
thankfully didn't break the dash or anything else, apparently popped the lock somehow.
weird though as i have my amps laying in the floor and they didn't touch them.
i guess i gota get off my ass and install a alarm now...

Alarms do nothing but annoy people.  Get a paging system.  And I'd rig up a hidden kill switch or spring for a Ravelco plug, in case they decide they want to take whole truck next time.

ya I'm pretty sick of it too. My house has been broken into 2 times and my garage 1 time in the last 3 years. We put the house on the market last week and are moving out in the country in 2 weeks where I know we won't be immune to this stuff but it is far less likely.

well I do already have 2 kills in the truck. 1 for fuel the other for IGN. I've got 2 sets of train horns mounted behind the grille and onder the bed. so its loud enough to wake the dead.
I just gotta hook the alarm up.

You need a train horn inside the cab to hook to the alarm.  Try theiving with that noise right in your ear.

Yeah I know its touchy but the idea of someone stealing your stuff when the lazy piece of crap won't get a job and has to steal from honest working people kinda makes you want to catch them a beat the tar out of them. But then again if they don't get it and you take it off before the cops come who's to say he didn't do it on his own.

Man I hate to hear your truck got broke into, that sucks. I hate a theif also! The only thing I hate worse is not being able to do anything to them if you catch them. I work hard for my stuff and it ticks me off when some scumbag that is to lazy to work steals it
