Passenger side hub noise and vibration
« on: February 24, 2009, 04:46:11 pm »
Hello,
I have a chevy blazer 78 4wd with manual hub. Unfortunately for me, someone has put the passenger side hub in lock position when the car was in the parking lot. I drove it for 20 km home, then a noise occured and I can feel the truck vibrating when running in D mode (auto tranny), I put then in Reverse and the vibration disappeared, but when in D the problem is still there. Can someone help me to  solve this problem, I need my truck everyday... Thanks

Fulltime or Parttime T-case?
Driving with the hubs locked in 2WD wouldn't necessarily break anything.  I used to drive my 81 with the hubs locked at least all day once a month..

Locking part time hubs won't "hurt" anything, where is the vibration occuring.
What someone you know playing a truck on you?
