i need to know as much as possible concerning chassis cabs and/or c-30 chassis cabs.  Specifically concerning wheelbase, but really any information at all would be good.

This is for a new project which i'll describe soon.................or maybe i won't.

Cab and chassis C or K 30 rear axles are narrower. As far as wheel base the shortest one available is a little bit longer than a long wheel base pickup. The frame how ever in my experiences is the same length. There were several longer wheel base versions available, the frames on them were longer.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Here's a link to most of the sales brochures for 10-30 pickups during the years 1969-1991 where you'll find the wheelbase lengths for the 1-tons, at least.

You don't have to worry about that as i:

1) don't like stepsides---i think they are too "countryish,"  old fashioned, and make no sense to me.  i'm a city dweller, thank you very much.

2) i will be sticking with the single cab.

Concerning the chassis-cabs, i noticed after looking at the brochures, that there is/was a 160 inch WB model available, which is cool.  This gives me 84" of distance between the cab and rear axle.   Basically, i need the maxium space available between the back of the cab and the rear axle----you can probably guess what i'm trying to do here.

At any rate, i need the maxium space/distance between the back of the cab and the rear axle as possible.

Super-stretched bed?  If that's the case, it sounds like a cool idea!
