Well got it painted to night. Turned out pretty good. Will need a good wet sand and buff job but i like the color. Tommrow will be doing the hood and all the other parts.

Nice, neighbor.  Did you paint it or did a local shop?  I am just over the state line, next town over from Crown Point, Lowell, IN...

Great color, looks like a real nice job.  It's amazing to me, the transformation from several colors of primer to the finish paint.

Looks great. Curios why you chose to spray the hood etc. separate. Aren't you worried about color match with that much metallic?

 wanted to spray inside fenders and cowl all at the same time, Na every time I have done a dark blue like that have not had a prob(watch this be the first time lol)  I just make sure my gun is set up the same all the time. and air pressure

here is a pic of the headlight bazels  don't know if i like it yet i think it will look better once the grill is in and the bumper is on..

The color I used was from a 94 Porsche  i think its called nighthawk blue or something.. Pretty much looks the same as Midnight Blue Metallic little bit more darker allmost looks black in some angles

Use lots of chrome and polished metal to set it off. 

I even had "chrome" pinstripes on my '90 Suburban, along with aluminum running boards.  It looked great.

Well got the front all put together. My truck has bug eyes lol.. I think i'm going to smoke the headlights out so they don't stand out so much. But I like it. Man I forgot how much of a pain it is wet sanding and buffing these trucks.  but its turning out pretty nice.
