I've been lurking around for a while and decided to introduce myself. I'm from southeastern PA ,married , one child and I own two squares. One is an 83 SB 1/2t former pest control truck that runs and drives but could use some body work and another bed and the other is an 87 brown/tan suburban silverado, 2wd ,1/2t with a 350, aod trans, and AC that I just picked up from an elderly second owner a couple of months ago. Both trucks are well over the 100,000 mi mark but the suburban was garage kept since 1989! On the suburban I've rebuilt the TBI,replaced plugs wires cap rotor, new egr valve ,heater core,replaced all dash bulbs and sprayed the inner gauge cluster silver,removed the aluminum running boards,cleaned and detailed the entire truck,removed the ugly purple tint from the rear side windows, removed the CB, am in the process of replacing the rear window motor and cleaning and regreasing the regulator. My plans in the future are to lower it 4/6, rollpans front and rear, install electric doors and windows, billet grille, some minor paint and body work, redo the headliner, and replace some weatherstripping. After that I want to do one piece windows and either some 16 or 17" steelies with whitewalls or possibly 22"s My plan for the SB was to body drop it but I'm thinking of selling it to fund the the start of the suburban.
