My knees disagree allot of the time, but I don't listen.

You know, youth is nice and all, but, I would not wanna be that young again.  Although high school was a blast, and college was awesome, and I could run, and run, and never get tired, literally a marathon runner, I wouldn't trade what I have and who I am now for that. There's a lot to be said about having a satisfying career, a beautiful wife and a growing boy---oh, and two chevy trucks in the driveway  ;D. I wouldn't have it any other way! Now I am counting the days to retirement, hiking the Appalachian Trail, and having my house paid off--all in less than nine years from now.

I gotta a little pep in my step, even though I am getting closer to the grave each day, but, hey, as soon as you're born, each day brings you closer doesn't it? --just puttin' things into perspective, is all.

I have no problem growing old. I just still do allot of things physically that I did when I was young. All my friends said it would bother me to turn 30, then 35, now 40. Almost there, and don't have a problem with it so far!

Blazin it's a pleasure to read your posts and learn from your mech. experience.  I'm not gonna say anything about getting old.  I' m too close!
