Metric or standard?
« on: March 22, 2009, 01:41:27 pm »
I'm about to start putting my truck back together. While I was taking it a part I noticed that GM used both metric and standard (mostly metric) on the body parts. My question is are new parts like rad support, inner and outer fenders made with metric or standard nuts?

I'm going to say predominantly metric - both because most of that stuff is made outside the U.S., and because GM started going metric in the early 80's.  My '02 is exclusively metric.

The body panels are going to be standard.
