well now that banks has a marine 6.6 deisel with the stand alone computer for it,it should be pretty easy to put a duramax in our older chevys.Im thinking a 6.6 duramax/2 wheel zf 6 speed/divoreced np 205 .Then put it in the 87 crew cab.I will have to see how much the stand alone computer runs,just thinking .

Did they figure out the ecu for the marine engine? You know, it runs nitrous oxide to keep the turbos cool. Is that your plan?
