Door panel question

I have a lead on some door panels for my truck....Theyre 81 replicas, but have the hole for a crank.... My truck has power windows and locks..... Is the hole for the crank the same place as the hols for the locks/window switches? Just wondering if I could dremel the round hole to fit the switches or no....

Who makes the replica?  You should be able to put the swithes in the hole by making them fit.

If I'm not mistaken... I believe the crank holes are actually lower than the power window switch location.

You can put the switch where ever you want though.  N2TRUX did this on his door panels I believe.

DUH! Yeah, you should be able to. As long as that hole isn't bigger in diameter in size compared to the switches, I should be in good shape.....

The switch holes are bigger.  You might make a template out of your old panels -- start small 'cause the switches need to fit tight.

Crank holes sit the same height as the switches...at least on mine. I have power window door panels and i have crank windows and it fits right in the front switch hole

Is that the actual panel you are using?  Flip it over and see what it says on the back.  If it is black it is probably a placo panel.  The handle would be in the same level just in the middle.  It will work.
