Here is another pic. This is my first project. First time rebuilding an engine, doing body work for paint, rebuilding the front suspension and the 3rd member etc.. Not to bad for a first timer heh.

Nice truck.  I tend to be partial to blue though.  Thought about painting my old yeller truck blue to match my 2001 chevy, but I think it needs to stay yellow and tan.

Looks great! How low did you go(parts and pieces)?

I hate pointing out stuff but your right front wheel doesn't look centered. Is it just the angle? I wouldn't want you to ruin a tire because somethings out of wack.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, the front wheels are turned to the right a bit, and also the angle I took the picture is off, but trust me the wheels are straight. I just rebuilt the front end about 3 weesk ago, new poly control arm and sway bar bushings, tie rod ends etc, and had it aligned. Drives like a new truck. The front end is lowered about 3-4 inches with drop coils, and the back has a flip kit which is lowered about 5", as it is the rear axle sits on the frame. Can't go any lower without C-notching or getting rid of the front wheel wells. I would like to lower it more but I can't with the 22's and I really hate when people starting cutting into the bed. I bought the truck lowered already so I don't know what exactly is in it.

Great looking truck!  8) I have a couple of questions, first has the bumpstop mounts been removed? When I put my flip kit on I still had room between the axel and frame after I removed the bumpstop mount. Second in that one picture it looks like your leafspring is on top of the axel, is it? Has the front hanger been flipped? In that pic from the side the spring looks flat behind the wheel, a friend of mine done his and that is the way his looked.

It has a flip kit so the axle sits on top of the leaf springs. The bumpstops where cut half way and some leaf springs where removed. I bought the truck that way, I really hate how the back bounces cause it always bottoms out. I am planning to install air shocks in the rear to hopefully minimize the bounce.
