New interior, speakers, and deck
« on: April 09, 2009, 03:33:04 pm »
Took someones advice on here and visited millionbuy.com and picked up some new 3.5" for the dash, 6.5" for the the new kick panels I bought from the site store and a set of 6X9's for my new cab corner plates I also picked up on here.... Went ahead and got a 300 watt amp and 1 kenwood 12" subwoofer in a box too. And a new sony CD deck with USB hub, ipod jack, etc.... Love the cd player.

The system sounds great... I need to fine tune it though... The box is also a little tall and I need to top edge so it fits better behind the bench on the passnger side....

Very happy with the cab corner 6X9 dapters and the new kick panels BTW.

I also picked up a new dash and door panels I will be installing over the next week or two.... I got new carpet too, but I am going to wait to put that in. The interior now is red, but the new stuff is black.

I'll get some pictures as soon as my last COY wheel comes in.

Just wanted to share!

That was me talkin' about millionbuy.  Man that place is cheap!  I just got a Kenwood 600 watt amp from them for $119.  Crutchfield wanted $229 for the exact same thing.  Even places like OnlineCarStereo wanted $147...  I don't think their prices can be beat -- just have to add up the shipping verses some places that have free shipping, but they usually still can't compete.  I'd say the downside is product support/warranty-type stuff...but the price is so sweet it makes that stuff worth the risk!

They are ridiculously cheap compared to stores too. I bought the Sony deck, the and all 6 Polk speakers for $375.00. Wish I would've bought the amp and sub off of their, but my helper was only in town for the day so I had to run and buy those that day... Spent $170.00 on the amp and $190.00 on the Sub.... On their sitre right now they have a package of a 1000W amp and two 10's (Kenwood) for $170.00. They're hard to beat!

Thanks for suggesting them!

The reason they're so cheap is because they're not an authorized dealer. No dealer, no warranty, no manufacturer service what-so-ever.

That's what I said above...  But when the prices are 1/2 (or better), personally I think it's worth the chance.  You get a warranty, but it's through the site rather than the manufacturer.
