mounting a dvd deck in the vent slots?
« on: April 26, 2009, 06:08:59 pm »
Hey all,
I got a sweet deal on a dvd deck and screen.  It's actually 2 seperate units, one is where you put the disc in and the other has the motorized screen.  Each one is the size of a standard cd deck.  The disc unit I put in the stock location.  As for the screen unit I want to stick it in the approximate spot of the left dash vent.  Since I don't have A/C it won't interfere with anything like that.  What would be the best way to properly mount the screen unit?

I put a AM-FM CD player in that spot, no biggie.  The biggest pain is if the dash pad needs to come off for some reason is all.  Pretty straight forward when the glove box door is off.
