to help him out a lil more what was it in the 80's when they changes the tailgates and hoods? cant remember but someone will correct me

81 was when they changed front ends as far as tailgates i am not sure  but someone here will chime in..

thanks guys. since both my fenders have some rust and these two are rust free i think im going to buy , im getting both fenders for $40, tailgate for $25 ( mine is a little dinged up), hood $ 25 and tw0 grilles for $25 so $115 for everything and there all in rust free condition.

well i bought  2 rot free fenders and the tailgate for $60. the hood was solid but the one i have is in better shape. the grilles were junk.
