Rear main seal, PTO leaks, pump is disconected, one wiper motor, one spot light, a bunch of little stuff.

Those are just plain cool! Nice to see a well maintained piece of equipment like that.

Wonder where you can get tires like that now? Bet those have some years on them.

Those are Deman's plus a few other companies make them still. Those are only about a year old.
Pulled the third member out today, the outer axle flange seals were leaking along with the third member to housing gasket. Going to do a rear main seal tomorrow :-\.
Check out this craftsmanship. You don't see U joint saddles like this now a days!!
The yoke is shaped for them to slide over, then the through bolt goes through both the saddle, and the yoke.

Real trucks are built, not bought Build thread

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!

Fits together like a chinese puzzle, eh?

I love the machine work. Manufacturers couldn't afford to even draw up the plans for something like that today. Beautiful.

Does it still have the flathead in it?? Pics? Both of my 50 Dodges have the flat 6 in them and it is amazing how well they run.
