Soon after purchasing my 74' stepside project truck, I learned that the RPO code sticker that's supposed to be on the glovebox door was long gone. I recently called some sort of GM information number I saw posted on this website. I spoke with a really helpful guy that said he would do some research for me and try to find my RPO codes for me. Two days later I get a call back from him saying he couldn't find the information for me, but could point me to another department that could. He tells me about the GM Media Archives department ran out of the GM Heritage Center. Their website is
www.gmmediaarchive.com. Basically for 50 bucks, GM will send you the dealer invoice (window sticker) information. Here's the kicker for me though...they only have this information back to 1977 though. For anything older than that, you're just SOL and I guess it will forever be a mystery.
