5 lug to 8 lug

Hey,
I got a 1981 C10 Stepside and was wondering how much of a pain would it be to swap the existing suspension to one from a C20 or C30?
Would I have to swap out everything? I know I'd have to change the rear differential.

Why?
To got to a 8 lug you would need everything from the control arms out.
