Awesome! I have been banging my head against the side of my truck trying to think about how to do a sub. I also wanted buckets but didn't know where to get them. Two for one! You Rock with this thread!
Did you have to do a lot to get the Jimmy seats to bolt up?

Radio, its actually easier to mount up some suburban seats. The brackets can be bolted it if you're not welding saavy.

Thanks for the info. I think I could manage the weld for the mounting nuts and I like the idea of the Jimmy/S-10 seats, the sporty feeling would be nice. Did you have to weld in backing or support for the mounts as well?
I'm leaning towards a JL Audio 12" or a 10" depending on what works for the box size and console. I need to get the seats first

Check out what we did with my stock console from my 81 2wd Jimmy, back in 1991
Rockford Punch 8" in a ported bandpass enclosure with plexi window for viewing and mirror on the bottom. I competed with it. The pictures are after many years in storage.
