New project pullin truck
« on: July 28, 2009, 06:01:49 am »
Me and the step dad decided to get the 84 k20 out of retirement and pull her. Big block truck .060 over 402 11:1 comp and a mild cam. Pull at the local fair the other day made 203' and change at 3500 rpm because of a screwed up throttle cable(which was brand new I miight add) still working the bugs out of the drivetrain and have to find a good body for her.

my cable from autozone kept binding up "at the carb where the cable slides" on me then one day it was about to stall so i was ticked of and floored it broke the cable so i picked one up from advanced auto and the problem by putting a longer sleeve on the cable now it works just fine

Have you checked out my threads?

I am currently in the tear down stage of rebuilding my '77 K-30 puller.

If you would like some advice on building a solid 4x4 truck puller just ask. I have been at for 15 years, and have gobs of trophys.  :)
