Hi I'm Zac. I bought an after market harness for my stepside. It's from a company called ez wireing. I want to use the stock gauges because I'm short on money, and I don't have a brand new motor with no miles. And as far as i can tell it wont work with stock gauges. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas how I could use the stock gauges, or recommendations on a set of cheap gauges for the speedo, tach, oil, temp, volt and fuel. The spedo is in the middle, the tach is to the right of it. And the others are the little gauges to the left of them. Thanks for you help and info. Also, I'm looking for an idea to mount the after market gauges, if I can't use my stock ones with my harness. That would be awesome. Thanks a lot guys you're all a huge help 8)

I made this a little more readable for you, you might get more replies this way. As for cheap gauges, take a look at the SunPro brand at your local Autozone or O'reilly's. I have seen some little oil pressure/fuel/voltage/water temp gauges there for like $12 each.

On a friends truck I was building I used a universal wiring, and tried the factory gauges but didn't have any luck tried wiring diagram but about went crazy looking at, so I tried following the circuits on back of the gauge panels and they still  went crazy so went O'reillys and used the 4 smaller after market  gauges mounted them were the a/c controller and top vent was at

this what I did on my truck also has a universal wiring harness I'm still using stock gauge cluster and bezel with sheet metal to mount the gauges

thanks the gauges are  equus, and how they stay in cluster is the back of the gauge is kinda like a bolt and nut, the billet cluster would work or look wright because the gauges the larger gauges are 3 3/8 and the opening on billet peace is like 5"s
