new from virginia
« on: August 07, 2009, 12:18:18 am »
hi everyone i just bought my first 73-87 gm truck and so far i love it! its a 86 lwb k10 with 3in of lift. only has 83k original miles 3.42 gears and a th350 swap. unfortunately it has the anemic le9 but it will suffice for now. picked her up for only $1500!! so far ive added a edelbrock 600 carb long tube headers with 2 1/2 custom y pipe into a single 3in high flow cat then y bac out to a pair of 2 1/2 turbo mufflers dumped b4 the axle. i also repainted the rallys black. most of the work that i plan in the next year will be maintinace but would like so swap the axles for 1ton units with 4.11s-4.56 gears add shift kit bigger trans cooler custom built converter efans and a budget high tq 350!! id like to do some street class truck pulls eventualy so any info or advice will be great since i want a God performer for a street class but still be able to dd if needed.

Ill try to get some pictures up tonight when i get home! I just painted the rallys black i think it makes it look 10x better! It still has the mudflaps and (old man) aluminum running boards on it too for now.
