You guys see that new commercial with the longest lasting chevy trucks?
77 c-10 - 77 400 86 700r4 "Emmy"
83 citation - 2.5L Four on the Floor!
88 sierra - reman 350 700r4 "Eleanor"
All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

They had like an 85, 88-98, and the '10 I think. It was pretty good. It was on during the football games.

That truck is awesome.  I wish it had made it into something better than a lousy F&F film.

There is a 73-87 in this video, but i'm not concerned about;  i'm concerned about the other thing.   i wonder if this could be street legal.  Now that would be budget transportation.

Again, discovered when searching for something totally unrelated.

I believe it would be legal- being that its a mower and you can drive those one the street. Technically legal, realistically not.
btw that is the coolest lawnmower I've ever seen!

If it's the same commercial I saw:  Look carefully at the truck used for the mid-80s example - It's a pre-78.

Good commercial though.
