Hello from illinois!
« on: August 18, 2009, 02:38:55 pm »
Just thought I'd introduce my self!  From Illinois, 33, married with 3 girls.  I bought my 82 K-5 6.2 Diesel Blazer about 5 years ago, but with 3 kids and work, never much time to work on it.  Well, my wife won the 'Wife of the Year" award for suprising me with a brand new Edelbrock Carb recently!  Yes, I am still happy about that one!

My truck no longer has the 6.2, I put in a rebuilt 350.  So now that I put on the new carb, I'm stoked to get her goin!  You will probably be hearing much from me in the near future with questions about needing or not needing to change out the tranny (700r4)and/or torque converter, fuel pressure questions, and a few others I will post later.  Once she is a sound running vehicle, I will move on to the body, and start posting pics!!

Congrats on this site, as I have seen much good info on here, and many great looking trucks!
C-ya around,
Marc
