Interior freshened
« on: August 21, 2009, 08:53:08 pm »
hey guys.
well i cleaned up my interior, after finally getting tired of having a minute weird smell lol
steam cleaned the carpet and seats.
and make a cover for my 4wd carpet in a 2wd excess lol. plus it was cut and kinda ratty looking.
also finally mounted the center console that i got with my tahoe bucket seats.
anyway heres some pics. below.
and yes i know i need to finish my door panels lol
which leads me to the next question.
i wanted to keep the stock panels but cut off the arm rest portion.
ive already removed the brackets from the door.
im going to use foam to fill in all the indents to make the panel smooth for the tweed.
but i need to know what would be best to fill the big hole im about to make lol.

I don't see any seams in it and no tucks in the corners.  Great job...

He man, what year Tahoe you get the seats out of ? How much trouble was it to mount them. have to drill holes new brackets.. I have been looking into something like that and those look good.  Thanks alot...

the seats are out of a 97 tahoe.
as for the brackets i cut off almost all of the factory bracket then welded up a set for this truck.
check through my build thread and you can see the pictures i posted up of them.
