do i have enough radiator

just got my 1977 chevy k-20 running, and was wondering. i put a new replacement radiator in from advance auto, and it looks kinda small. its a 2 row, its the one it calls for, truck has no a/c but wondering if its enough to cool the new 350 in it.  also does anyone know what fan came on these truck? it has a fixed 4 blade fan that looks small and is missing the fan shroud.   should i go bigger radiator?  should i go electric fan?

shroud and a larger clutch fan should be fine.

I put a 4 row in everything, but Im kinda obsessive about engine temps. I also live where temps 100 deg F or more isnt unusual, so thats a factor. The only thing that conserns me about your present setup is the fan shroud. That is something you should look into putting on for sure, otherwise your fan is just an air mixer. You will notice it the most when stopped.

the price difference between 2 core and a 4 core cant be much.  I too put a 4 core in everything.  I pull a trailer and also have an external tanny cooler. 

I have A/C in both trucks, but, I'd still put a 4 core even if i didnt have A/C.

id almost prefer to go electric fan as used shrouds around here are impossible to find, at least ones not busted up,   u think a 16 inch elec fan would do fine behind the 2 row radiator i have? the truck doesnt tow anything or have a/c and only gets run occasionally.

Without a shroud you will just be pulling air through the area where the fan is. If a shroud can't be found, try a sheet metal shop to make one for you.
