inner fenders

can you take off the inner fenders on a 78 with the radiator support and outer fenders still connected

Yes, it can be done. Will probably have to pull the wheel, but once you get all the bolts out with a little manuvering it should come out.

yup gonna try with the wheel off i tried with the wheel on there was no way it would come off!!!

I would jack it up and take the tire off, it will be a little easier.  You won't get it off with the tire on as you have found.
