Help me find some decent floormats?
« on: September 25, 2009, 10:01:48 pm »
They have all kinds of floormats, pretty much anywhere you go. Wal Mart, Autozone, Napa, Orielly's, you name it. Well to be blunt they all look like cheap junk, to me. Are there any that are carpeted, that fit these old trucks pretty well, that are decent quality. You can buy exact reproductions of the originals, if you want to pay $100 for some mats lol. Any ideas?

I guess it just depends on what you want to spend.  I have been thinking about buying some of those clear ones for mine.  I'm not sure why but I think it's because you spend all that time and money on carpet then cover it all up!  Just seems wrong somehow.

Oddly enough, I found a really nice thick set at Fred's (kinda like Dollar General) for $14.  Thought I might try those first, simply 'cause they are cheap.

I think you can also order custom mats from ACC.  Might check with the people you got your carpet from.

I'm kinda budget minded at this point, so how much for shipping to 76031? Tried to look em up in the store but not there yet. Also are they as wide as they need to be, to go from door all the way to hump?

floormats aren't listed because no one ever wanted them.  Shipping to your zip is $15.

Here's what the ACC mats chris was talking about look like.

I got mine when I bought the carpet, and it's all made of the same material.  They have a thick rubber back with all those little spikes everywhere to keep it from moving around, and the edges are done real nice.  I love mine and will buy more of the same thing when these wear out.  also after about 9 months of constant use, they're not showing wear yet.
