Well the new bed is on! I LOVE IT! It looks so awesome. It turns out that I have a 6 inch lift, not a 4 inch. I have a 4 inch suspension and a 2 inch body.... So that's even cooler! I have almost all of it sanded and primered with a 1st coat. Here's a look at the progress...

Yeah same with me, I liked how the step side looked and all, but to me, the fleet side just makes it look more aggressive and a lot better. But I guess it's just a matter of opinion to people. But no matter what, I love it now!  ;D ;D

I love my stepside, but that looks good. Maybe its just because the color matches now. Nothing like a cold beer while working huh?

just cause theres a pink stripe down it doesn't mean a chick drives it. have you seen broke back mountain, well i haven't nor do i plan to but its the same ideal just cause he a hard working cowboy doesn't mean he like the soft touch of a female  ::). most the time when i see a lifted truck or a truck I'll look at it from the corner of my eye and see if i see long hair if i see that then i take a better look

Hahahahahaha that was pretty funny right there...

Yeah, you have a point. I AM gettin a sticker for the windshield that says "Cowgirl Cadillac" lol... I've always wanted that sticker on a lifted up truck. But I'll eventually figure out somethin for the paint job.

I like the new bed much better.  Although the way a step side looks best to me is on a truck lifted like yours, i still like the fleets better.   Nice progress!

Glad you're getting your project together, and I also like the fleetside bed.  Is that just a rattle can primer black or what?  Have you driven it much with the new motor?

Thanks yall

Yeah thats just the first initial coat of rattle can primer. The bed was already primered black when I got it, and he had primered it like 10 yrs ago so it is all faded. I haven't had a chance to finish sanding and primering the cab forward because of the wind we've been havin. But once we get to the final coat we'll use an air compressor and shoot it with some flat black prolly.
