will it fit and whats a fair price?

hi everyone, i have a 79 with an incorrect dash in it. or i assume it to be incorrect, it doesnt really fit right i dont think, and the door pannels im pretty sure are wrong. anyway, i found a guy on craigslist that has a 73 that he is parting out and i wanted to be sure the dash and door pannels would fit before i go striking a deal. also, what would a fair price be? i asked him how much for the dash and pannels, i aslo asked for door lock cylanders with keys, and the temp guage w/ wiring.

73-79 should interchange.  The gauges differ, ammeter versus voltage gauge and the oil pressure gauge is mechanical in a 73.  As far as price all I can tell you is I bought the whole speedometer cluster complete for $35 from my local pick and pull and the cluster had a quartz clock.  I believe the door panels on the 73 may be smaller and not cover all the holes that the 79 panels had but I am going off memory as it has been several years ago since I had anything older than a 78...

73 door panels won't work on a 79.
73 dash will go on it, but the hole where the VIN plate is won't be there.
The style of the dash between 73 and 79 aren't the same.
