After all these years you are better off just taking a sawsall or a grander with a cutoff wheels and cutting the old shaft in 2 and useing a air chisle to remove the bushings, and half of the shaft and install a new shaft, I will bet the inner bushing shell is rusted firmly to the shaft. really not worth the time and pain to remove it and clean the shaft even if you did get the whole shaft out.
