Hello all,
I had no time to posting about my Truck project last Feb - 3rd week of Oct, 2009 because of my Truck had very restorable, I having working very very hard on my baby Truckin' by myself and getting dead tiring often but It's half way job on her. So, I'm ready to posting this Thread (Topic) many information and a lot of pictures (over 500, lol
but I won't posting the whole 500 pics here) about my baby
Truckin'
I found out the frame, SB Chevy engine, 700R4 trans. and rearend came from a 1983 Chevy Silverado that installed by previous owner.
This is before last Feb 1st, 2009
More information and pictures next posts, stay tuned...

Thanks, I'm glad my parents and friends are helping me out with new and used parts.
Parted out and starting restoring
I took the whole front end off the Truck

When I took the front windshield off and I noticed there's 2 bottom corners had been rusted out... my neighboor friend helped me to cutted them out and replaced very good used parts came from 1988 Chevy Suburban.
I gridded down a bit the welded around to smooth it and filled with steel putty and primed it with Rust Tough spray cans that is a lot stronger than body filler, so that'll not starting rusts growing back in the future.
More pics, stay tuned...

My friend cutted the passenger's side rusty rocker panel off and replaced a new one into it for me
The new one I painted it with Rust-Olemum Hammered 4 times coated under new rocker panel
On the Driver's Side Firewall had rusted out hole. I gridded the rust hole down and my friend put a new sheet metal patch on it then welded it for me
I filled it with steel putty, sanded and sprayed it with Rust Tough primed 4 coated
On the passenger's side A/C hole that had bad job on it by previous owner, so I fixed it excellent job. I took the factory A/C off and sanded old red paint off then filled with Gold Premium body filler (light weight and simple sand job than classic bondo) 'cause it had warp panel, I fixed it straighten out, looks much better!

I sanded the red paint off and filled the steel putty on few holes and shaved all factory weld spots off
I put back it's original rusty radiator support to checked on both brand new fenders then I took the rusty support off
I found a good used radiator support came from 1985 Chevy C-10, I bought it from a private seller. I restored it very well and painted all glossy black that I used a new brand Rust-Oleum engine enamel sprayed on it, looks great
This is before
After...
(I'll modify my post to add few pics with painted black here soon. I have to uploading into my
www.imageshack.us
'cause my
www.photobucket.com
stopped my upload pics sometimes and telling me "
Upload failed for Picture 622.jpg with error: A network error caused your upload to fail. Please try your upload again.
" I dunno what's going on that, I have to keep trying uploading again....)
