ok so heres the deal! 1978 c10..... i want these rims! 24x9.5 --- 255 30 24(tires)
i want to put a simple up and down airbag setup on truck, so i need these wheels to tuck. the seller said i would need a 25 to 30 offset. is this a positive offset or negative offset. i still wanna have a fat lip 4" or more. i am open to any suggestions (tire size)
BEST case scenario would be someone on here running same size rims and tires that i want so they could tell me what offset they have!

I think we have answered this for you a couple of times.
Chose ANY rim size and go with 5-5.5" backspacing for the from with no wider than 8" and 6-6.5" in the rear with no wider than 9.5". With 22's I would stay on the lower side of the backspacing.
Keep in mine you need to MEASURE your truck to verify all of this. It is best to get a rim the size and diameter you want along with a tire and mount it.

This board is great, but the exact opposite from my other board C10forum. The guys over there see 20's and are like man you need to step it up. Guy said he wants to put 4's on his truck and you're dogging him hahhaahahah

bashing someone or their truck and their opinions are not allowed here, remember the registration agreement?
I plan to have 20" + tires on some of my trucks... if you only have negative comments against other members, leave them off the board.

Yea I think 15's can look just as good as 20+ just depending on the style you know?

You are not going to tuck 24's with a "simple" system. There is nothing wrong with wanting 24's, but you need to be sure you have the budget to build the truck around them. It ain't going to be cheap, simple, or easy.
