I'm debating on building a new stainless steel rear tank for my 87 SWB. I've read the excellent article by Captkaos but would feel better having a heavier guage tank. The reason I'm going stainless over Aluminum is because my welder at home isn't set up to run Auminum and (I figure) it's stronger in a thinner guage (though heavier). I'm planning on installing rolled pan, so impact/punctures are a concern.
Does anyone know what the capacities of the blazer tanks are and what the approximate sizes are? I want to reuse the sending unit from my original side tank (but ditched the dang tank....forget how deep/tall it was now)
