OUTPUT SHAFT
« on: November 23, 2009, 07:44:19 pm »
I was wandering how hard it is to replace the out put shaft? My daughter wants a dodge ram for her first vehicle. I found one for 600. the owner who is selling it says it need a new out put shaft. he also said it was making a clinking noise in the rear of the tranny. but he said it did not start doing that till he replaced the flywheel. So I am thinking he just did not put in the right fly wheel or did not install it right. Am I correct?
Wanted to rebuild my dream truck. Looks like I'll be having just nightmares. LOL

it needs a new out put shaft plus he just had to replace the fly wheel sounds like a bad deal someone trashed her then they want to sell it. couple "N" bombs will trash a tranny real fast
