1979 C-20 Scottsdale
« on: December 08, 2009, 03:57:44 pm »
New here. Hope I'm doing it right. Bought this C-20 about 11 months ago. It had been a delivery truck it's entire life. It had 5000 miles on the odometer. I don't know if it had 105,000 or 205,000. Who knows? It has factory A/C. 350 / TH 400. Very little rust. Rebuilt the engine with a few trick goodies  making around 350 HP and hope to soon start on the body. Redid the A/C, new radiator, wiper motor, new tie rod ends, idler arm and pitman arm. Ball joints  very soon. This is my third one of this body style.  Was into the 67 through 72's for a while. Had a 77 and an 83 I bought new. I have a 78 GMC donor truck and a 77 short bed fleetside I'm trying to decide what to do with before it rots away.
