I think it may be due to the backspacing of those wheels. I remember seeing them on another truck and thinking that they were 'sunk in' to the wheel wells quite a bit, meaning that they are probably positive offset wheels.
With proper offset 16"(or larger) wheels, you shouldn't have any clearance issues. And if your LCAs are already clearanced, 15"s might fit, as well.

You have to take into account the offset of the wheel. Just because it will fit the bolt pattern, doesn't mean it will fit the vehicle.

Except for picture number 1 which I can't tell. It looks like you are clearing. And based on the pictures you haven't removed "that" much metal from the control arm. I have had to cut the whole ridge back on some with 15" wheels and reinforce them.
My truck that currently has the Impala SS wheels isn't lowered, but the truck they were on was lowered, but it used LCA's and springs. They will fit with some trimming on ones with spindles though.
If you spin the wheel does it still rub now? I didn't read back, but how much drop do you have and how?? Spindles = who and how much, Springs = ?

100 percent stock springs so no drop there, and a McGaughy's 2.5 inch spindle. I couldnt tell you exactly how much drop I did get because when I put the spindles on I took out the drop springs and put in the stock ones. Thats good though I guess I'll keep cutting more off. I am close to clearing but when you have the wheel turned it doesn't clear. You can hear it hitting the back of the rim.

what size wheels are those? Would a lowered srping give you additional clearance? I mean thinking of it in my head it would due to the lca being up closer to the bracket? Right?

Once I can sell my wheels I was wanting to go to a 15x6 prolly in the front with 3 inches of backspacing, with a 15x10 in the back with 4inches or so of backspacing...

ok, sorry I was thinking for the front and was like nawww.... That'd look funny and put me in worse condition, I actually have been trying to contact people about narrowing the stock ralleys on the front for me, like for them to cut an inch out of the back of the wheel, so it'd give me clearance I need. I just don't like spacers.

Stockton wheels and Wheel Vintiques will narrow them. Should be able to find a wheel maker that will make them too, although finding some Van wheels (15x6) or base truck wheels (15x7) will be cheaper and easier.
