Bearing questions
« on: December 20, 2009, 03:25:30 pm »
Has anyone here ever heard of or used "Enginetech " brand bearing or pistons.  Any reports on quality or problems?

I guess Enginetech is a distributor for pistons made by "Silvolite"  anyone know of them?

Silvolite pistons are basic replacement pistons that very economical. Not top of the line but never had a problem with them either.

Enginetech stuff is used by commercial rebuilders
Silvolite is probably some of the better rebuilder pistons
Both should provide good service if assembled with proper care and clearances
