I think the little red Honda car was whispering to it at night and it would get excited and try to start itself!!

that doesnt automatically make it ugly lol...it may be haunted but id still drive it

Kinda partial to that color combo any way...not sure why? ;D

Oh, I finally found the problem with the starter. It seems that when I put the new starter in I didn't tighten the positive cable connection as tight as I should have. After a few months the cable end had loosened just enough to allow it to short against another terminal on the starter. I learned a valuable lesson with that mistake. I believe under the right conditions that short could have started a fire. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I've seen some pretty nice rigs on this site. I'm sure it will come in handy when I get around to restoring the Chev. Thanks.  ;D

Its too nice of a truck to let it being haunted stop you from enjoying it, I wish it was mine!
