hello everyone, i am from a small town in north Texas about 45 miles north east of Dallas, Tx. i have a 1973 Chevy Stepside that i have had since high school. i am in the process of doing a frame off restoration on it. i will be installing a 408 small block with a Coan Racing turbo 400 trans. the motor has 225cc Dart heads fully ported and polished flowing 315 cfm, 2.08 valves, Callies steel crank, callies rods, JE pistons, and a crane Billet solid roller cam .715 Lift. the motor has 10.5 to 1 compression so it will be still streetable. i have 4.10 gears with a Powertrax's locker and will be installing Caltrac's traction bars. the truck is lowered with a flip kit on the rear and belltech springs up front. if it had a bolt in came off and i sandblasted the frame, A-frame, and rear end. i painted everything on the chassis with KBC frame coat and it turned out great. i will post pics asap. i got some with it still together and during the rebuild process.
