it's hard to follow your post without spaces or something between the two engines.   What price is the "b" engine?

What are your goals and how much do you want to spend?  When you say "which is better" there are so many factors to consider.

Do you want decent mpg?   If so, "A" may be your best deal.  If you need more hp and don't care about money, engine "b" may be better, but i don't know how much it cost.

Do you use it for a daily driver--is it city driving or highway? Pull anything?  take it the track any?

It's like saying, what is best camoflauge color?---it depends on where you are.

oh sorry A cost 2500 and B cost 2300 ......A has everything but carb, distrib, fuel pump......B really just supposed to have more hp and tq but does not include intake, oil pan ,vavle covers ,fuel pump,............it wont be something i drive every day but i will drive it alot .....just something to play with ...no racing ...and enjoy that real old school muscle sound ..but have the power on hand .not just sound ..i got that now ..and do  sick burnouts  ;D.....i surely dont want to stop to a gas station everytime i see one ....unless im putting my foot in it .........i have a stock 305 with headers and flowmasters now and it sucks with posi 10 bolt rear end ..........i considered a 350 but.......i think i like a 383 better ........the only good thing about engine B is it has a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty  but it would cost my a couple hundred dollars to complete .......im trying not to put 3,000 into a engine
