Hello from Montana
« on: January 26, 2010, 09:57:42 AM »
Hi every one my name is Zappe and i live in Billings Mt. I stumbled onto your site looking up stuff for my 1973 C-10  Little bit about my trucks history, the first owner was the U.S forestry service. (notice the pale green on the inside.) Then was sold to a kid going to Montana State University  and Krispy Cream had a contest to promote their new store and the winner got a semester of school free so he painted the truck like a Krispy Cream box (you can see some of the red paint on the box, never found out if he won though.) Afterward he painted the truck green with house paint and sold it to a guy in the army  but his wife told him he had to many toys, so i bought it for 500 bucks on the same day i bought my first house after telling my girlfiend it would be a better investment then renting a 200 dollar u-hahl for one day. she has a Strong 350 ,4-speed in her i didn't get much of a chance to get into her yet hoping this spring. sorry for being so long winded just excited to find a whole site and forum for our trucks! ;D Will post pic in members ride area thank you

Welcome from Ill!

83 citation - 2.5L Four on the Floor!

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
