New project, if goes as planned
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:14:09 pm »
So, I've been snoopin through the forums for a while now and decided to post for once. I've owned a 1980 Chev c1500 since I was 13, and can't get enough of them. I traded it off last summer for an '87 S-15 for a small block conversion. Now, with an aching for another 73-87, I've found what may be a keeper. It's a '78 LWB with a 305 with Hooker headers and full length duals. If I get it, its going to get a grill/headlight bezel's and all the fancy chrome to go with the flat black, with a 350 and a TH400 or a Muncie 4 speed.

if it ain't leaking, it's empty

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

I love that bottom pic.  I don't know if you planned it that way but it looks artsy in a way.  Any way, nice truck.

Yea, but with my luck of the draw, I know for a fact that Ill be up there in quality with half the price. The joys of getting everything at cost, and not having to pay a cent for any engince machining other than crank grinding ;)

What color are you gonna paint it, or are you gonna leave it flat black hotrod style?
